Dear Parents/Guardians

We are excited to announce the Wirral volunteer, fundraising and enrichment Fair organised by the Wirral Pledge on 2^nd October at The Mosslands High school. Open for school groups between 1-4pm and the general public until 7pm. This event is free and open to all within Wirral including parents/carers.

This is a great opportunity for students and will include representatives from charity sectors, public sector and enrichment providers with opportunities to find ways to give back to their community, find a fun activity to join and make new friends. A number of the exhibitors will be promoting their fundraising and volunteering opportunities which is perfect for those taking part in Duke of Edinburgh or the National citizen service. The opportunity to meet and ask questions safely and directly to providers and understand more about turning an experience into a career or lifelong passion.

The Wirral Pledge is a fully funded programme that operates across the area. The Pledge works with 13 secondary schools, and many other colleges, special schools and alternative provision schools across Wirral and has a growing network of over employers, enrichment providers and other partners in the region.  Thus, enabling providers to work directly with young people to inform and inspire them, helping them become more work ready and aware of opportunities within their own locality. The Wirral Pledge operates across the Liverpool city region and works with schools and colleges to deliver sessions such as CV writing, employer talks and many more.

We are always looking to bring more businesses onboard from sole traders to large corporates, so as a parent or carer, would you or the company you work with be interested in getting involved to inspire young people and raise business profile.
