Euro Space Camp
The end of term saw 18 sixth form Physics students return from attending ‘Space Camp’ at the European Space Centre in Transinne, Belgium.
During the 4 day study trip pupils attended lessons in the Space Centre where they carried out a Space Shuttle Mission Simulation, had a try of the multi-axis chair, built rockets and used a device to allow them to experience what it is like to walk on the moon!
The afternoon and evening activities included a high ropes forest course, a trip to Wallabi Theme Park, Bowling and some free time to explore Maastricht and Brussels.
The students had a brilliant time during the trip and took and full part in every activity. The staff at the centre were very impressed with the students and their mature approach to all they were asked to do.
