Key Worker –Adapted Provision

Term Time plus Training Days 36 hours per week Salary - £26,421 - £28,770 NJC12-17 (Pro Rata)  

We are seeking to recruit a Key Worker for Adapted Provision at The Mosslands School, situated in the heart of the Wallasey community.  Mosslands has a history of excellence in engineering and technology which has seen it grow into the STE@M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) Centre of Excellence that it is today. 

This position is critical in supporting some of our most vulnerable and complex students.

Ideally you should have experience of working with young people and families within an educational setting. Working with the Adapted Provision Manager you will be supporting students within our separate on-site base and working with students on a one to one or small group basis as well as supporting families. You will have a good understanding of young people within a school setting and the barriers that may prevent them from learning. You will have knowledge of a range of interventions in a school setting and have a thorough knowledge of safeguarding.

A commitment to working with vulnerable children and families to raise outcomes is essential

Full training will be provided and applicants should possess good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with young people.
