Our Literary Canon poster shows the pathway students follow throughout their literary journey with us. The Mosslands' Literary Canon is a list of classic literature that has been carefully curated by our English department and includes the set texts that are studied for GCSE. These works represent some of the most enduring and influential writings in history and are considered essential reading for any well-rounded student of literature. By reading and engaging with these texts, our students are able to gain a deeper understanding of the human experience, broaden their cultural knowledge, and develop their critical thinking skills.
