RIBI Young Photographer Competition 2014
30 students from year 7 - 11 participated in the RIBI Young Photographer Competition 2014 on behalf of Royden Revolve Rotary Club
30 students from year 7 - 11 participated in the RIBI Young Photographer Competition 2014 on behalf of Royden Revolve Rotary Club, with the theme being people. Claire Owens, Family Support and Well-being Co-ordinator arranged for the students to visit various locations on Wirral to take pictures for the competition and notice life around them, which was a great opportunity to meet and chat to members of our community.
One student from each age category were chosen as finalists during a very difficult selection process by members at Royden Revolve. Well done to Scott Keegan (14-16) and Rhys Shellie (11-14) who were to represent Royden Revolve Rotary Club at the District Competition. Students received their certificates from Head-teacher, Mr Whiteley with a special visit from Club Mascot, Royden Rabbit!
Next Year we aim to get even more students taking part in the competition and look forward to working with members of Royden Revolve Rotary Club in September 2014, embracing the opportunity to get more involved in projects within our community.
