Anti-Bullying Week
It's National Anti-bullying week and Mosslands students will not be ignoring it!
This week is National Anti-bullying week and here at Mosslands students have been reminded through assemblies that bullying in any form is not acceptable. Our School Council members were asked to discuss the findings of our on-line bullying survey and it was decided that the focus of this year's anti bullying week would be, what to do if any bullying behaviour was witnessed in school or indeed outside school. Students came up with the slogan "Don't ignore it". Badges were designed and have been worn by school council members and staff as a constant reminder to all members of our school community that to ignore bullying is to condone it.
We were proud of judgements made by Ofsted in our last inspection earlier this year which recognised that there was little evidence of bullying in our school and that when it did occur, incidents were always dealt with effectively. We intend to keep it this way but to do this we all need to play our part so "DON'T IGNORE IT!"
