Olympic Torch Visit
The Hughes family kindly allow their Olympic torch to come into school
The Olympic torch has arrived at The Mosslands School! Year 8 Ruskin boy Jonathan Hughes has brought the torch into school which his dad carried during his part of the Olympic relay.
Dad, Mark Hughes was asked to carry the torch after being nominated for all the hard work that he (and his family) do for the Amy and Friends charity, which supports children and families suffering from Cockayne Syndrome (CS).
Staff and students today enjoyed having their photographs taken holding the torch, which was a lovely way to finish another year at the school.
Many thanks to Jonathan and his family!
